New “Late-Nite” style talk show to debut at the Met Theatre in Morgantown!

The Coffee Talk Show, a show like no other, launches its season premier in front of a LIVE studio audience at the Metropolitan Theatre in downtown Morgantown, WV , on January 3, 2012 at 8:00PM.

The need for quality programs for and about West Virginians has given rise to The Coffee Talk Show, a West Virginia talk show featuring artists and musicians as well as conducting interviews with professionals and celebrity guests who have ties to the state for the purpose of entertainment, inspiration and information. This first West Virginia show with a “Late-Nite” style format is set to launch its first season of episodes.

The show is hosted by Michael Perri, a Clarksburg native, whose determination to tell stories about the people of West Virginia has culminated in the CTS program. “It has taken sacrifice, determination, a never-give-up attitude, collaboration with great business partners and sponsors and over two years to bring it to life but, the day has arrived!” says Perri.

The show will air LIVE via Internet stream on TheCoffeeTalkShow.com website and be rebroadcast through cable affiliates. The premier episode (Tuesday January 3, 2012 at 8:00PM) will feature actor Bobby Ray Shafer, known for his role as Bob Vance on the NBC hit show The Office and the cult film PSYCO COP; sportscaster John Kruk, former Philadelphia Phillies great and current ESPN Baseball Tonight host; and a performance by the always- popular Davisson Brothers Band. The show will also feature Morgantown-based band Fletcher’s Grove as the house band.

Future episodes will include recent West Virginia Music Hall of Fame inductee Billy Cox (Jimi Hendrix long-time bassist); actress Joyce DeWitt from Three’s Company fame; race driver Josh Richards; and many others.

“While the show is ready to launch, we are far from done,” Perri adds. “We are still seeking sponsors and contributors to The Cuppa Joe Foundation, Inc.,” the non-profit organization producing the show.
